Kendig, 2019, 28" tall,5" flower, TET, Midseason Bloom, 3 Branches and 18 buds, Dormant. Stripe color pattern with pale pink appearing beneath broken red color. Fertile both ways and sets pods easily. Midseason bloom can move striped flowers onto the schedule of garden tours and flower shows. Plant is named, of course, for the Connecticut daylily hybridizer Rich Howard, who brought us the excellent and important plant, Explosion In The Paint Factory.
Kendig 2020, Tet, 28" tall, 5 1/2" flower. Midseason bloom, 3 branches, 16 buds, fragrant. White flower with small throat and ruffled edge. Flower has wide petals and round form. Foliage is dark green and vigorous. A mature clump makes a beautiful plant covered with a mass of white blooms.
